London-based · Volunteer, ad hoc (directory-based) · FORE MEDIA / Events
The role
FORE needs faces out in the world documenting culture as it happens, at our own events and at external ones: Vox Pops on the ground, longer sit-down interviews, genuinely curious conversations with the people who make up this scene. This role is about being the face of FORE out there: representing the brand at events, capturing the culture in real time, and bringing it back as content.
This isn't a fixed weekly role; it's a directory of presenters we call on as events come up, brief beforehand, and send out to cover.
How it works
You'll be added to our Host/Presenters directory. When an event's happening, whether it's a FORE event or an external one worth covering, we'll reach out to whoever's available, brief you on the specific event and what we're after, and you go out and represent FORE on the day. Most of what you capture goes straight to socials; some interviews will also make their way into FORECAST, but the podcast isn't the main focus of this role.
What you'll do (per event)
-
Attend events as the face of FORE, internal and external
-
Run Vox Pops on the ground, quick, genuine, on-brand conversations
-
Conduct longer-form interviews where the event calls for it
-
Represent FORE's tone in person: defiant, intentional, direct, never corporate
-
Help turn what you capture into content that actually documents the culture, not just covers the event
What we're looking for
-
Comfortable approaching strangers and getting a real answer out of them; Vox Pops live or die on this
-
Genuinely curious about the scene FORE sits in: fashion, music, art, culture
-
Confident being the face of a brand in public; this is an ambassador role as much as a presenting one
-
Reliable once you've committed to a specific event
-
London-based, able to attend in person
Commitment
-
No fixed weekly requirement, no regular meetings
-
A briefing ahead of any event you're covering
-
Attendance and coverage on the day itself
What you'll get
Representing FORE at events builds toward a reference and accreditation over time, and it's a genuinely strong way to build a public-facing presence and portfolio in presenting, interviewing or brand ambassador work. Travel is covered for anything in-person. This one's flexible, you pick up events as they suit you.
