Remote-eligible · Volunteer, fixed-term internship (3–6 months) · FORE MEDIA
The role
Instagram is where most people meet FORE first. This role owns that space day-to-day, not just posting on a schedule, but actually running it: Stories, community replies, the feel of the grid, the pace of it.
You'll work closely with the Social Content Manager on strategy, but this role is about execution and platform instinct specifically. If you already know the difference between what performs on Instagram versus what just looks nice, this is for you.
What you'll do
-
Manage day-to-day posting, Stories and Reels
-
Reply to and engage with the community in FORE's voice
-
Keep the grid and Stories aligned to FORE's content pillars and tone
-
Flag what's working, what's flopping, and why
-
Work with the Social Content Manager on calendar and campaign planning
What we're looking for
-
Genuinely understands Instagram as a platform, not just "social media" in general
-
Fluent in FORE's tone: defiant, intentional, direct, never corporate
-
Ideally already posts in this space yourself, we want someone who lives in it
-
Comfortable with a fast pace and a bit of trial and error
Commitment
-
Minimum 2 hours/week direct contact with the team (weekly meeting)
-
Self-directed the rest of the week
-
Fully remote if that suits you
What you'll get
This is a structured internship, not a vague "help out when you can" ask. You'll move through four stages: Shadowing, Development, Ownership, Accreditation, with real responsibility by the end of it, not just busywork at the start.
At the end of your term:
-
A FORE certificate
-
A tailored reference
-
Portfolio work you can actually use
-
A listing in the FORE creative directory
-
Continued FORE community membership
-
Post-programme mentoring
Travel is covered for anything in-person. Paid conversion isn't guaranteed for this role specifically, but we'll always be straight with you about where things stand.
