The role

FORECAST needs someone holding the production side together, not the editing itself (that's outsourced), but everything around it: organisation, strategy, planning, outreach, sponsors, shoots, behind-the-scenes and additional content. This is the role that makes sure shoot days actually happen smoothly and that FORECAST has a life beyond the finished episode.

You'll be present in the studio on shoot days, currently one per month, aiming for two episodes recorded per session.

What you'll do

• Plan and organise FORECAST shoot days: scheduling, logistics, making sure everything's ready to go

• Support outreach for guests, sponsors and partners tied to the podcast

• Attend and support studio shoot days, currently one per month, covering two episodes per session

• Capture and manage behind-the-scenes and additional content around each shoot (photos, clips, extras for socials)

• Contribute to FORECAST's wider strategy: what's working, what guests or formats to chase next

• Liaise with the outsourced editor to make sure they've got what they need from each shoot

What we're looking for

• Organised, comfortable planning and coordinating multiple moving parts around a shoot

• Confident with outreach, guests, sponsors, partners, whoever needs chasing

• Genuinely interested in the strategy side, not just logistics, you should have opinions on what makes a good episode

• No editing skills required, that's not this role

Commitment

• Minimum 2 hours/week direct contact with the team (weekly meeting)

• Self-directed planning, outreach and coordination work the rest of the week

• One studio shoot day per month, in person, covering two episodes

What you'll get

This is a structured internship, not a vague "help out when you can" ask. You'll move through four stages: Shadowing, Development, Ownership, Accreditation, with real responsibility by the end of it, not just busywork at the start.

Travel is covered for anything in-person. Paid conversion isn't guaranteed for this role specifically, but we'll always be straight with you about where things stand.
