Remote-eligible · Volunteer, fixed-term internship (3–6 months) · FORE MEDIA
The role
FORECAST is FORE's long-form home, and YouTube is where it lives. This role owns the channel: not just uploading episodes, but actually running it as a platform in its own right, with its own strategy for discovery and retention.
If you've ever looked at a channel's upload schedule, thumbnails and titles and instantly seen what they're getting wrong (or right), this is the role.
What you'll do
-
Manage uploads, thumbnails, titles and descriptions for FORECAST
-
Build and maintain channel strategy: what keeps people watching, what brings new people in
-
Organise episodes into playlists and series that make sense to a new viewer
-
Track what's performing and adjust accordingly
-
Work with the Podcast Producer Intern and Host/Presenters on release scheduling
What we're looking for
-
Understands YouTube specifically, it's a different job to Instagram or TikTok and needs treating as one
-
Comfortable with the more technical side (thumbnails, metadata, analytics) as well as the creative side
-
Organised enough to work to a release schedule without letting things slip
-
Into fashion, music, art and culture, not just platform mechanics for their own sake
Commitment
-
Minimum 2 hours/week direct contact with the team (weekly meeting)
-
Self-directed the rest of the week
-
Fully remote if that suits you
What you'll get
This is a structured internship, not a vague "help out when you can" ask. You'll move through four stages: Shadowing, Development, Ownership, Accreditation, with real responsibility by the end of it, not just busywork at the start.
At the end of your term:
-
A FORE certificate
-
A tailored reference
-
Portfolio work you can actually use
-
A listing in the FORE creative directory
-
Continued FORE community membership
-
Post-programme mentoring
Travel is covered for anything in-person. Paid conversion isn't guaranteed for this role specifically, but we'll always be straight with you about where things stand.
