We are more powerful when we come together. We are invested in planting roots and foundations FORE our people. We,FORE, are not just a business but a family open for all. Let's go back to shine a light on our community event, showcasing local businesses offering the sale of work, products and an exhibition style setting for individuals to display creative works accompanied by a selectively curated line-up of live DJ’s and performances.
A SHORT STORY BEHIND THE LOCATION
Rooted in the heart of Peckham, Bells Garden community centre was the home of our event. Being a landmark illuminating strength, unity and history it was with great sadness to find out that it was going to be a victim of Southwark Councils ‘regeneration’ plans and therefore resulted in young entrepreneurs and business owners being displaced leaving them packing their bags. At FORE we succeeded in celebrating the communal victories, supporting the local businesses and giving the historic building the send-off it deserves.
The atmosphere that filled the rooms was one of great power and resilience, reflective of the creatives and people that joined us that evening. Bells Garden never felt more alive.
WHAT WENT DOWN?
Where do we even start? The doors opened and we were embraced by straight up vibes and a diverse welcome of creatives, entrepreneurs, friends and energy. The atmosphere was high and the networking resulted in new meaningful connections. There is definitely nothing better in the creative industry than meeting like minded individuals who simply, just get it. With that being said, it was extremely uplifting to see everyone's personalities shine which illuminated the talent and future of those in our community! It was apparent that these networking connections didn’t just end there…authentic friendships were made and made the night even more special.
Moving onto our in house guests, we had not only impressive but motivational performances from music artists who definitely put on more than a show. We were hit with an unforgettable experience pouring with passion and soul that left us all wanting more, and there is no better way than feeling the contagious energy of music than through intimate and personal live performances.

To make it even better the night was fuelled by great sounds and rhythms mixed and spun from some of our rising and established DJs. It was evident that music united our community and really transcended culture, race, language and time.

With all this energy, we needed to make sure our bellies were full and our people kept hydrated. After all, what's a party without some good food and drink, right? We had an Afro-caribbean menu provided by Shellz Catering. There was a wide range of food including vegan/non-meat options making sure everyone was looked after. Not to mention the ice cool frozen beverages “made with the finest locally sourced ingredients” from KrushPuppiesLdn!
EXHIBITONS AND MARKET STALLS
A big shoutout to all the vendors and artists that showcased their talent and passion. Everyone was taken back by the talent in the room and it was great to see the small businesses thirving. At FORE we make sure to support those around us. They put time, effort and consistency into their practice and it is inspiring to see people’s visions come to life.
It is extremely important to us at FORE to support those around us, with big goals and aspirations as it not only builds a stronger united community but will empower the next generation of entrepreneurs.

This was the first of many events we have in-store for the future and it really highlighted the strength of our ever-growing community - I appreciate you all so much!!
